I'm also one of the original Connetix stockists. I have been there for every new release. I've submitted ideas, I've watched the owners develop incredible sets over and over. Our family genuinely has a wonderful connection with Connetix and the people behind the brand.
My own children have grown up with Connetix. They still build incredible creations in their playroom each day.
The pieces are stunning and include glitter colours in every shade of pastel and bright. Honestly, need.

The launcher is flipping fun and the price point really is quite good. I've owned every ball run and you could get away with just having this one. I'd recommend families actually start here as it is small and your kids won't have you building endlessly and making you use every piece

I spent years begging for earthy pastels. When they arrived I was thrilled. I was a pastel over rainbow Mama. Then the bright portals landed, with teal and pink, and they became the set I reach for first. The colours are just glorious. The open frames and nested squares let children build in ways the original tiles cannot. Mini squares with Smart-Spin are used in almost every build in our house.
Who it is for: families who already have a starter or mega, or anyone who wants the “new Connetix” feel without buying everything.
Pastel Portal is the same idea in softer colours.
Portals are by far my favourite of all sets now.

Those minis are gold. More shapes added in pretty brights. The colours are amazing and the stickers are a bit of extra cute. Even if you put them straight in the playroom over the car or handbag, they are used in every single build. Price point is great on these, too.

Best all rounder and collection starter set
The new bright set is my favourite. This is the one you want for Christmas for the family. It has everything. They've also added minis to this set.

My boys are now 8yo and 10yo and really into the pros as well. We only have the main set so far so I can't review the new sets. They mainly use them on their magnet board and as fidget toys all around the house. The spin tech is fun to just click in your hands endlessly.
